Vintage Handmade Knitted Baby White Layette 4 piece Set Sweater Cap/Hat Booties

My aunt made this sweet layette set for my son in 1987 and it never got worn. The sweater and hat are knit in a soft acrylic white yarn that has very subtle sparkle. The booties are crocheted in cotton yarn. See last photo - one of the booties has some small brown specks on it. I didn't attempt to do any cleaning - perhaps a Tide stick would do the trick. Beautifully made and with lots of love. Smoke-free home ~ original owner
